Export prices for CIS plate continue to decrease. In the past ten days, DMZ (Ukraine) has reportedly lowered its offers by $15/t for November production on weak demand from foreign buyers. In particular, 8-20х1,500 mm plate of S235JR grade is being offered at $590/t FOB Mariupol. Market players note the producer may want to negotiate due to the lack of orders. DMZ’s extras for S275JR and S355J2G3 grades are $5/t and $30/t respectively, and extras for 5-6 mm thickness and 2,000 mm width – $10/t each.
