As reported by Iran Mine and Mining industry portal, Fars province in south of Iran will be the third big steel producer region of the country after the current steel projects start producing.
Seied Ali Shahpari, president of Fars organization of industries and mines said that at the moment many steel projects by value of USD2.35 trillion in Fars province steel sector are on the way and after finishing Kovar and Neiris Steel projects, by the end of The Fifth Development Plan , 10% of Iran steel production would be in Fars Province.
