Iranian state owned steel producer Mobarakeh is expected export more than 700,000 tonnes of flat products in the current Iranian year which will end on March 20th 2010.
Mr Mohamad Rajaie CEO of Mobarakeh said that the company's flat product exports totalled only 350,000 tonnes in the last Iranian year which ended on March 20th 2009 due to high demand in the local market and the global downturn.
He added that Mobarakeh's finished steel exports in the first 9 months of the current Iranian year amounted to about 450,000 tonnes increasing by 40% YoY.
