Brazil’s iron ore shipments totaled
23.366 million tons in January 2016, down by 26.3% month on month. Among them,
Vale’s iron ore shipments totaled 20.46 million tons, down by 27.2%; those for
CSN’s iron ore shipments totaled 1.956 million tons, down by 24.8%,
respectively.
In January 2016, Australian iron ore shipments totaled 59.7356 million tons,
down by 4.1% month on month. Among them, Rio Tinto’s iron ore shipments totaled
25.79 million tons, down by 16.8% month on month; BHP Billiton ‘s iron ore shipments
totaled 18.97 million tons, an increase of 7.6% month on month.
