According
to a report of World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS), global zinc market was
in a surplus of 33,100 tons during January to February.
Meanwhile, inventories of zinc saw a decline of 76,000 tons from the last year.
Global refined zinc production increased by 5.7% as the demand increased by 5%
from the same period of 2014. China’s demand for zinc totaled 940,700 tons.
