In Turkey, the bar offered to Middle East customers have fell to levels of US$460 per ton to US$470 per ton for March production on account of slow demand. Customers of UAE prefer to buy from local manufacturers or domestic distributors.

In the region, steel manufacturers have reduced their billet asking prices for March production to US$380 per ton to US$390 per ton from previous values of US$400 per ton to US$410 per ton but this move failed to attract customers.
