Being stimulated by the uptrend steel price in China, steel flat-rolled offers from Asian area moved up comprehensively.
Korean CRC CFR offer to Taiwan climbed to US$610/ton this week from earlier US$560/ton a week ago. Meanwhile, Taiwan’s CRC export CFR price also increased to US$620/ton. While Taiwan’s thin HRC 2.0mm price to China has been lift up by US$20/ton to US$520/ton.
However, traders said that the development of above prices need to be observed after Chinese New Year holidays since most buyers temporarily stopped buying at present. Source: Yieh.com
