Iranian steelmaker Esfahan Steel produced 403,000 tonnes of semi finished steel and 454,000 tonnes of long steel products in the first 2 months of the current Iranian year up 13.52% and down 4% respectively compared to the corresponding period of the last Iranian year.

Esfahan Steel's average monthly semi finished steel output amounted to 170,000 tonnes in the last Iranian year.

Mobarakeh Steel HRC output in 2 months up by 71pct

According to the new figures from the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization, Iranian integrated flat steel mill Mobarakeh Steel produced 720,000 tonnes of slab and 747,000 tonnes of hot rolled coil in the first 2 months of the current Iranian year down 11% and up 71% respectively compared to same period of the last Iranian year.

Meanwhile, Saba compact strip processing plant produced 119,000 tonnes of thin slab and 119,000 tonnes of hot rolled coil in the first 2 months of the current Iranian year up 48% and 57% respectively compared to the same period of the last Iranian year.
