Egyptian Iron & Steel Company announced a rise in the price of its flat products in the local market by EGP 200 per tonne. After this raise, the average selling price for the company products reached EGP 3843 per tonne ex works tax on sales not included.
Ezz Steel kept the price announced at the beginning of March unchanged, which is at EGP 3760 per ton ex works tax on sales not included. This comes in line with Ezz Steel policy to announce prices at the beginning of every month.

Egyptian Iron & Steel Company provides Egyptian market with 30% of steel products, whereas Ezz Steel has the lion's share of the market amounting to 70%.
