The scrap price has kept raising in global steel market, the new updating U.S.'s 80:20 container scrap offer price to Taiwan is US$450/ton (C&F).

Some traders expect the scrap price will jump to US$500/ton (C&F) in next month. Actually, for 80:20 container scrap offer price, since the seller has offered US$420/tpm (C&F) to Taiwan in earlier time, the seller has already closed the official offer currently; their offer price by US$450/ton (C&F) is only offering by verbally.

Most of countries have tried to get the available scrap source from international steel market, such as China, Japan, Korea, India, Turkey and Taiwan and the decreasing scrap supply quantity and the increasing market demand are still the major reason to push the scrap price going up.
