It is reported that Syrian hot rolled coil stocks are at high level and according to the traders, there is almost no demand.

However, the stocks of hot-dip galvanized are much lower in Syria, as the price is in a range of US$680-750/ton while the offer prices of Saudi Arabia is at US$700/ton and Ukrainian offers at US$720/ton.

It is predicted that the major problem in 2009 will be the lack of cash and credit crunch.
