Tehran Times reported that Iran exported over 4.1 million tonnes of iron ore worth around USD 254 million in the first 11 months of the current year ended February 19.

As per report, the amount was 51% more than the figure corresponding to the same period last year.

According to Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization, the country's total iron ore output was 23.2 million tonnes in the mentioned period.
