Import prices of all steel products in Europe have taken a dramatic jump during this week, pushed by the announced and partially implemented increases of raw materials.

As anticipated earlier vide our article “European steel players anxiously awaiting for new prices” on March 11th 2010, this week Russian steel mills have come out offering for 2nd quarter deliveries price as follows

HR
North Europe - EUR 510 per tonne CFR FO Antwerp or equivalent port
South Europe - EUR 500 per tonne CFR FO Mediterranean Port

CR
North Europe - EUR 560 per tonne CFR FO Antwerp or equivalent port
South Europe - EUR 560 per tonne CFR FO Mediterranean Port

All prices are considered base +applicable extras.
