Turkey’s flat demand decreased by 50 percent; some plate demand decreased even more.
Plate sales dropped by 30~40 percent compared to the same period last year. Demand is unlikely to recover before next year.
The market has been concerned about Turkey"s negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). If no agreement is reached, the market is expected to deteriorate even further.
