Al-Ghurair Iron & Steel (AGIS) in United Arab Emirates (UAE) is seeking government protection to resist the shock caused by unfair import.
The CR and GI Mills invested in the third quarter this year by AIGS have just begun mass production. The annual capacity of CR product is 250,000 tons and GI product is 200,000 tons.
However, the low-priced products have impacted the domestic markets. Therefore, AIGS said it had no choice but ask the government to provide the assistance to resist the dumping, especially from Far East and CIS. Source:Yieh.com
