Recently the price of flat-rolled products in Poland is adjusted down, while the import quotation from Russia is relatively high.
At the present the stock of both local mills and dealers is very high. It’s said that ArcelorMittal has adjusted down the basic price of HR coil in Poland’s domestic market by US$177/ton, and thus the factory price in December is US$505/ton.
Meanwhile the price of HR coil in October is about US$569/ton, and CR coil is about US$670/ton. The domestic importers in Poland are to experience a difficult period of time. The market will stay weak just like in other European countries. Source:Yieh.com
