France imported around 1.42 million tons of iron ore in September.

The total imports of iron ore reached 4.94 million tons from January to September, down by 60.9 percent compared to the same time of last year of 12.629 million tons.

During the first 9 months, Brazil was the top iron ore exporter to France at 2.44 million tons, down by 69.5 percent from a year ago; Canada 2.127 million tons, up by 83 percent; Mauritania 259,000 tons, down by 85.6 percent compared to the same period of last year.
