In regard to the export market, South Korean CR mills have lost their competitive edge in terms of pricing because the Chinese resources are comparatively cheaper.

China’s CRC offer to Asian countries is about US$565/ton CFR, while same offer from South Korea is about US$650/ton.

Under the current situation, South Korean CR mills have to attempt to increase their domestic sales since domestic price is higher than global price.
