CIS billet supplier has cut down the price by US$40/ton due to the weak demands in Far East.

Last week, Russia and Ukraine billet export price is being quoted at around US$400/ton. Ukrainian Metinvest keep its billet export offer stable at US$390~400/ton.

A trader said that there is still some demands for billet from the Far East buyers even though the buyers are hesitating to purchase just because the price is expected to slow down further.
