Corus Strip Products UK announced that it will increase prices from October 1st 2009on UK deliveries of flat rolled products to customers on monthly contracts.

Basis prices will rise by GBP 30 per tonne to GBP 50 per tonne, depending on specification, compared with September levels.

It said that the price rise comes as destocking in strip products in the UK draws to an end.
