Brazilian Usiminas have raised the price about 10-12 percent since September and CSN raised by 13 percent.

It is reported that Usiminas hot rolled coils price have reached around US$955/ton after increasing.

The price raise is affected by the increasing steel demand from the automobile and the appliance market, the same time, it also related to the reduction in inventories.
