Japan has received a large number of HRC inquires from Latin America, Middle East, Africa and Eastern Asia because Japanese HRC price is attractive.

Therefore, Japanese steel mills have decided to increase the price of HRC. It’s said that the settle rate of some HRC deals between Japan and Korea is US$510/ton.

China’s Baosteel has also added about US$74/ton for HRC domestic price of July due to strong demand.

Taiwan’s China Steel Corp. also lifted the HRC domestic price to about US$596/ton recently.
