Tokyo steel Manufacturing Co. announced that there were about to reduce their asking prices of steel by 5000 Japanese yen per ton for all items to be distributed in December 2008 and onward. Hot rolled coil price decreased by 50,000 Japanese yen per ton which is 40% lower than the peak of current year. The company has expanded output reduction by 20%-30% till March 2009.
