Asian steel prices set to rise

Korean Posco and Chinese mills have stopped exporting the cheap steel products, thus the export transaction seemed rather active on the Asian market.

Currently, the mills reckoned that the price has reached the bottom and estimate that the price will go up in the third quarter this year.

Posco has stopped exporting the cheap steel products and has turned its eye onto the domestic market. Chinese mills said that they are forced by the environment to stop exporting and the transaction price on the Asian market has rebounded. Source:Yieh.com
