Chinese steel prices have kept falling for 10 weeks.
Construction steel is the strongest among all steels and the current price is rising, in which 25mm rebar is about RMB3100/ton.
Heavy plate price has dropped to RMB3,080/ton. Cold rolled steel price is also decreased slightly, while hot rolled steel price is about RMB3,200-3250/ton.
It seems that construction steel market is recovering because the market consumption has reached 80 percent of last year’s level. Source: Yieh .com
