Following a period of falling rebar and billet prices, the scrap price in Taiwan has started to pick up in line with rebounding rebar and scrap prices.
Scrap price is being traded at NT$4,700~5,000 in southern Taiwan, and is expected to continue its upward movement.
Some mills are looking to buy at NT$3,600~4,000/ton, but can’t find suppliers.Source:Yieh.com
